Gender Equality Management System

The UNI/PdR 125:2022 standard is a national guideline aimed at providing a management framework for gender equality in the workplace. Issued by UNI, the Italian Standardization Organization, this standard incorporates gender equality principles and diversity into organizational goals, supporting the shift towards a more socially sustainable work environment.

To foster real change within organizations, the guidelines include requirements for defining and measuring specific goals and KPIs related to gender equality policies. The aim is to create and maintain a more inclusive, less discriminatory workplace by implementing a management system that can also be certified.

The standard outlines six areas of indicators, linked to different KPIs, which assess an organization’s maturity level in inclusivity:

  • Culture and Strategy
  • Governance
  • HR Processes
  • Growth Opportunities in Gender-Neutral Workplaces
